All UAE juridical persons (including Free Zone and Mainland companies) must register for Corporate Tax and obtain a Tax Registration Number (TRN), even if their income falls below the taxable threshold.
The standard rate is 9% on taxable income exceeding AED 375,000. Taxable income up to AED 375,000 is subject to a 0% rate. Eligible Free Zone persons may also benefit from a 0% rate on Qualifying Income.
Resident taxable persons with revenue below AED 3 million in the relevant tax period (and all previous periods) can claim Small Business Relief, treating their taxable income as zero. However, registration and formal filing are still legally required.
